GRILLED OYSTERS, WINE & MUSIC W/ Fishers Island Oyster Farm & Pleiades

Join us for our inaugural Grilled Oysters, Wine & Music event, co-hosted with Molly Malinowksi of Fishers Island Oysters and Pleiades, a network of women leaders working at the forefront of environmental and social justice.

We’ll be enjoying a selection of wine from Monica Ordonez, of Jorge Ordonez Selections, local oysters grilled over the fire, and other delicious bites from The West End kitchen.

Singer-songwriter Amber Rubarth will play a solo concert. This is a treat you won’t want to miss.

Come connect with amazing women working in food.

We will gather in the yard at The Bakery, across from cafe. Rain plan TBD.

SOLD OUT – COOKING CLASS: BROWN BREAD AND BUTTER

Learn to make seeded brown bread & homemade butter in our newly renovated kitchen/dining room. This intimate 6-person class is inspired by Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland, where Chef-Owner Lily Starbuck trained and first learned to make brown bread & butter.

Please arrive 15 minutes before class begins, with your hair pulled back and closed-toed shoes on. Aprons are provided. Please let us know in advance if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions.

We will begin with the fundamentals — how to make a hearty loaf of bread, how to churn butter, and how to compose a salad with a winning vinaigrette. Lily and Phoebe, another Ballymaloe alum, will be present to guide you the entire day. Lunch will be served. All students will head home with a loaf of bread & butter.
